What's included

PSA-Aligned Assessment

Each card is assessed across:

  • Centering

  • Corners

  • Edges

  • Surface condition

Using a simplified and transparent framework inspired by commonly recognised grading standards.

Technical Inspection and Evidence

Identify issues often missed during casual inspection. Assessments include:

  • Magnified inspection

  • UV / black light inspection

Where relevant, reports may include photo-supported observations to improve transparency and confidence.

Paperkado Scoring

  • A = Strong PSA 9-10 candidate

  • B = PSA 8-9 candidate with minor visible imperfections

  • C = Visible issues affecting premium grade potential

Each assessment included:

  • PSA-aligned condition assessment

  • Centering, corners, edges and surface review

  • Enhanced technical inspection (magnification and UV light)

  • Paperkado Score (A / B / C)

  • Structured assessment report

  • Technical inspection evidence (where relevant)

How does the pre-grade process work?

 

Book an appointment through the website and we’ll arrange a suitable weekend meet-up or drop-off.

 

Once received, your cards will go through Paperkado’s structured pre-grade assessment process, followed by a detailed report.

 

Cards are typically returned the following weekend unless otherwise arranged.

 

How do I submit my cards?

 

Paperkado currently accepts cards through:

 

  • Weekend meet-ups  

  • Weekend drop-offs  

 

At this stage, mail-in submissions are not available.

 

This helps ensure cards are handled carefully and returned securely.

 

When are appointments available?

 

Appointments are currently available on weekends only (Saturday & Sunday).

 

This applies to:

 

  • Card drop-offs  

  • Meet-ups  

  • Card collection / return

 

Availability may vary depending on booking demand.

 

When will I get my cards back?

 

The standard turnaround time is one (1) week. You shall receive your cards the following weekend.

 

This allows time for assessment, report preparation, and quality control.

 

If there are any delays, you will be informed in advance.

 

Do you offer faster turnaround?

 

Yes. Priority turnaround options may be available for collectors who require quicker assessments.

 

This includes:

 

  • Earlier report completion  

  • Faster card return arrangements

 

Additional fees apply and availability may be limited depending on assessment volume.

 

Where do meet-ups or drop-offs happen?

 

The exact meet-up or drop-off location will be shared after your booking request has been confirmed.

 

Locations are arranged based on practicality and schedule.

 

How should I prepare my cards?

 

To help ensure safe handling, cards should ideally be submitted in:

 

- Penny sleeves  

- Top loaders  

- Semi-rigid holders (where applicable)

 

Please avoid loose cards where possible.

 

Can I submit multiple cards?

 

Yes. You may submit multiple cards per appointment.

 

If you are planning a large submission, please mention the number of cards in your booking request so sufficient assessment time can be allocated.

 

What if I can’t collect my cards the following weekend?

 

No problem! Alternative arrangements can be discussed in advance.

 

Please let us know early so we can plan accordingly.

 

Do you guarantee PSA grades?

 

No. Final grades remain subject to grading company standards and grader discretion.
